![]() ![]() At least, that's how things work in theory. ![]() The only reason Dark Souls and Ni-Oh were ported to PC is because they were not developed in part or in whole by one of Sony's in-house studios, and Sony does not own the rights to these intellectual properties. Because Sony owns the rights to Demon's Souls and Bloodborne respectively, it is very unlikely that these titles will ever appear on another platform. Your best bet is to wait for Sony to go bankrupt and then throw themselves at the mercy of other more successful companies, like Sega did with its franchises when the Dreamcast went bust. Now, do you think that's going to happen any time soon? Currently, Sony's "top dog" in the console world. LiquidFusion a écrit :Asking for Bloodborne on PC is like asking for Nintendo to release Zelda on PC. Why? Well, they're interested in selling your their specially designed game boxes. Their gaming hardware won't sell because it's pretty to look at or because it's more powerful than a PC. No, consoles sell because they have a library of good games that people want to play. By Thomas McNulty Published In a hilariously unexpected crossover, a Seinfeld meme has been adopted by the Bloodborne community to reflect the games eldritch horror themes. The classic sitcom, starring Jerry Seinfeld as the titular main character, appears to have little in common with FromSoftwares gothic action role-playing game. So, if we assume this is true, then it only stands to reason that Sony or Nintendo will lose out on the money that they invested into producing their game boxes if they release all of their games on multiple platforms. "Why should I pay another 400 dollars for one game?" People will no longer have any incentive to buy their console. Next big one is in late August-early September.Nice argument, but Zelda is worked on in-house, and Sony had FromSoft make BB. There's too many demonstrably reliable industry insiders confirming a PC port is coming for this to be bullshit and there's still many Sony events throughout the year for this to be announced at. There were game creators watching the show expecting their game to be shown but it was pulled without them even knowing about it which explains why Bloodborne wasn't shown with the Demon's Souls remake trailer as speculated. I also believe it was originally intended to be announced at the event in June but it got delayed. Still undecided if it's going to be a free update or not for PS4 players who migrate to PS5, remaster includes all GOTY edition content with slightly improved performance and visuals, but nothing really new. I don't like that companies now prefer to hold reveals back instead of announcing everything in one big event (it's crazy that we still don't even know the XSX and PS5 prices), but unfortunately, I can't do anything about it. Just like MS and Ubisoft did with their own events, Sony is also planning to host a few showcases before PS5 release, the closest one is the State of Play in August and it MIGHT show up here, but I have no solid evidence that it'll be announced here. The official announcement should be in the next few months, but it's hard to tell exactly when and how this will happen. Regardless, I personally doubt it won't release in 2020 and it shouldn't take too long for the official reveal since the work on the remaster is more or less done. Sony wants to push Bloodborne remaster in PS5 launch window line-up, but stuff can still be moved to a later date. There was another big playtest round of PC port in July to address issues that were found during previous QA tests.Īll found critical bugs were fixed, online functionality is fully operational, the work on the port is almost finished.ĭon't expect miracles with the framerate, anything above 60 FPS still causing a lot of issues and game will probably be capped at 60 FPS even on PC (though I'm sure modders will figure out how to remove it). Since I probably won't be available for the whole August, here's an update about Bloodborne remaster: Original source of the "Bloodborne is coming to PC" rumors has doubled down on the rumors in a YouTube comment on his video about it. ![]()
