But it's a story you can watch in leisure, some gorey snippets but they don't really show it so it's fine. They chopped up some scenes from a bunch of chapters in the manga and sprinkled it around as flashbacks but they also repeated usage of a bunch of footage lol so it's kind of, i don't want to say annoying but it is what it is lol AND I kind of think this might be a little more difficult to understand if you didn't read the manga hm so that's also a negative point. Is that it's pretty slow but also kind of fast I guess. He was the source of some obstacles I faced during translating this since yknow older people tend to speak super fast and with a slang so do look away from unsuccessful attempts, this was also done without scripts so there might be more mistakes that I overlooked in QC. I'm a fan of Takito Kenichi too because he always plays coolass character and lmao his hobo-looking ass didn't disappoint this time too. If you're looking for something new that you wouldn't normally watch, I'd say give this a try.Anyways, so I subbed it because I found some raws so was like uuuuu might as wel since who doesn't love some Okada Masaki x Jun Shison combo. They then receive a request from a detective about. Again if you're not into BL take a pass on this story. Kosuke Mikado decides to take part in exorcisms conducted by Rihito Hiyakawa. I gave it 3 to 4 episodes before deciding to drop it. It's not fast-paced and I think that's where a lot of people drop it. The animation was really nice, again giving off creepy vibes. I get why people would dislike Mikado due to his attitude and possessiveness towards Hiyakawa. He grew stronger, less afraid, and open to helping others. I loved seeing him grow throughout the story. We do not store any video files on our servers, all video files are collected from the internet from 3rd party websites. 4anime is a free site to watch anime online. I didn't expect him to grow so confident and less frightened. The Night Beyond the Tricornered Window TV Series. His supernatural powers have grown within 12 episodes. Hiyakawa has a more standoff-ish presence and gives off creepy vibes due to his actions, past trauma, and overall his possessiveness towards Mikado. Hiyakawa is a deeply troubled man with the ability to destroy ghosts. Mikado has intense spiritual energy and low boundaries, which draw spirits to him. The two main characters Kosuke Mikado and Rihito Hiyakawa both have paranormal powers. Tricornered Window follows Mikado and Hiyakawa as they exorcise ghosts and curses. The two main characters do have affection for each other but it's shown in sudden ways like grabbing hands, invading personal space and having a certain connection that is obvious to everyone but one character. If you are not into BL I would pass, though it won't be like traditional BL. However, it also is a paranormal/mystery anime. Lastly yes, it's listed at BL and has some BL elements. I will say that this anime isn't for everyone and will give off some creepy vibes (it did for me). This show was slow to start but once you get into it the story picks up. Sadly, this work is not of the quality of Kyoani’s earlier masterpiece so Call’s contribution may well go unnoticed and certainly it cannot rescue the show from mediocrity. If you are a fan of his work then his signature sound can be discovered lurking in the background. This was the anime he worked on after his smash hit success with the soundtrack to “Violet Evergarden” (Kyoto Animation 2018). What is highly noteworthy in this production is the soundtrack by Evan Call. Hence it is of no surprises to find that Tomoko Yamashita’s manga has also been adapted as a movie in 2020/2021. The plot is often dark and impenetrable - the whole production decidedly average although it has the air of a show that would look better as live action. His talent is spotted by an exorcist Rihito Hiyakawa who uses and abuses Mikado’s talent in a mysterious case of a teenage necromancer Erika Hiura who is being forced against her will to use curses to aid the Yakuza. The story concerns bookstore employee Kosuke Mikado who sees dead people. Worse than that the story falls back on a lot of mumbo-jumbo that might give it a little cult-appeal but leaves the wider audience somewhat baffled as to what is going on at times. It leans heavily on a whole bunch of well-worn horror cliches and the central bromance just falls flat on its face. Studio Zero-G’s 2021 creepy horror-thriller was not really our cup-of-tea.
